Joe’s Travel Tee Shop began as more than a business—it’s a tribute to the woman who shaped so much of who I am. My grandmother had a way of turning everyday moments into lasting memories. Whenever she traveled, she brought back gifts for her grandchildren, and I always received a t-shirt from her destination. Those travel tees became my first passport to the world. I’d study each one, imagining the places she’d seen, dreaming of visiting them myself.

 

But her influence reached far beyond travel. She taught me how to garden, how to cook, and how to create with my hands and heart. She even handed me my first power tools—though not without a few mishaps. I’ll never forget the time she tried to paint a window shutter and accidentally sprayed me head to toe with a paint gun. She looked at me with a grin that started in her eyes and spread into the kind of laughter that made everything feel okay. That was her gift: making messes feel like magic.

 

As I grew older, her passions became mine. I fell in love with discovering new places and revisiting old ones that feel stitched into my soul. Then I would be the one bringing something home for her, either a souvenir spoon or maple candy if there was any near my travel location.   

 

Joe’s Travel Tee Shop is my way of sharing that love—with designs that celebrate comfort, nostalgia, and the joy of local pride. Every tee tells a story, whether it’s a landmark, a legend, or a memory waiting to be made.
